Sigma Chi Fraternity – Theta Gamma Chapter

PRESIDENT | Consul ELECT (November 2023- Current)
  • Ensure that all actions of the chapter and its 17 individual members serve the purposes of the Sigma Chi international bylaws.
  • Represent the chapter at the house corporation board in addition to the Interfraternity Council
  • Act as the official representative of the chapter at university, community, and general Fraternity events
  • Responsible for building strong relationships with the 12 presidents of Drake’s other Greek chapters.
TRIBUNE | ALUMNI RELATIONS DIRECTOR (August 2022 – Current)
  • Develop and maintain positive relations with 500 of Theta Gamma alumni members.
  • Responsible for creating, publishing and distributing three alumni newsletters per semester.
  • Generated $1,500 in alumni donations from my first published letter.
  • Serve as the liaison with Alumni Association President to coordinate events that involve area alumni.
  • Create and develop content for chapter Facebook and Instagram pages.
VP of Recruitment |Drake University’s Interfraternity Council (January 2023 – November, 2023)
  • Responsible for planning the Fall and Spring formal recruitment week for 85 incoming students.
  • Arranged and set up all Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) orientation sessions, including arranging chapter and street tours.
  • Main point of contact for fraternities and potential new members in addition to being responsible for developing a strategic plan for recruitment week
  •  Resolved any issues that we may have encountered during rush week between chapters or recruits.
  • Attended the AFLV Leadership Conference in Indianapolis on behalf of Drake University
  • Attended group seminars that taught us about their leadership experiences.
Public Relations Chairman | Sigma Chi (Feb, 2022 – Sept, 2023)
  • Oversaw the Sigma Chi Theta Gamma Instagram and Facebook pages.
  • I was responsible for posting content, events, and activities of the chapter.
  • I was also responsible for creating infographics for the chapter, regarding social events, philanthropies, and other achievements of the house.
  • Though my term is over, I am still responsible for managing the Theta Gamma Chapter Facebook account, as well as the Theta Gamma Alumni account.
  • Since taking charge of the Facebook account, I created a custom profile picture and banner to create a refreshing look to the page since it hadn’t been changed in 4 years.
House Manager (February 11th 2023 – September 22nd 2023)
  • The House Manager’s main responsibility shall be to maintain the Chapter house and property.
  • I was responsible for creating a chapter-wide cleanup / house management plan prior to the beginning of the fall semester.
  • I was also responsible for the outer property upkeep, general maintenance, and overall cleanliness of the Chapter house and all its public spaces.
  • I worked a lot with our housing corporation to ensure that our appliances were maintained and that our other land-lord related ordeals were handled properly.
Recruitment Chairman (January 2022 – December  2022)
  • Developing a recruitment week plan for the chapter to engage potential new members.
  • Increased membership by 50% by proving the strengths of being a member of Sigma Chi
  • Worked with current members to create recruiting plan that highlights the strengths of being a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity.

Job Experience

Autumn Ridge Land and Site Design (May 2023-September 2023)
  • Worked on both landscaper / lawn maintenance teams.
  • Assisted in building patios, porches, fences, and light fixtures.
  • Assisted in yard demolition / renovations.
  • Assisted in planting shrubbery, trees, flowers, and grass.
  • Completed weekly lawn maintenance.
Colletti’s Italian Restaurant (June 2022 – December  2023)
  • Worked as a bar-backer.
  • Served as the assistant to the bartender / waiter at the bar.
  • Served customers non-alcoholic beverages and food at the bar.
  • Ensured that the bar was always clean and that customers were satisfied.
ChicK-Fil-A  (October 2019 – August  2022)

  • Served as an indoor / outdoor cashier.
  • Handled all face-to-face customer interactions.
  • Completed catering deliveries.
  • Ensured that all customers were satisfied with their experience at CFA.
